The classical notion of knowledge has two parts. One half is to know what you know. To know what you don’t know is the other half.
In our schools and in our fast-moving society, we teach people to know what they know at least. But we don’t teach students to know the limitations of knowledge. As a result, we kill the act of curiosity, to discover more.
