It can be distributed - partly in the head, partly in the world and partly in the constraints of the world.

You don’t need to know which one is the correct image of the actual coin to use the money properly.

  • Precise behaviour from imprecise knowledge
  • Deliberately organise the environment so that we do not need to have complete knowledge
  • Approximations is enough rather than the detailed scientific theories for precise behaviour.
