Black box method - the method to learn any hard concepts quickly.
Here is the general idea:
We don’t need to understand the internal mechanisms of something before we use it.
For example, to drive a car, you don’t need understand how the engine that pushes the car works. You only need to learn enough to be able to use the car to move from point A to point B.
This method works very quickly. Because the information required to use something is much less than the information needed to fully understand something.
When you understand the underlying purpose of something, this makes it a lot less scary to learn it for real because you know the end result already. You just need to figure out how it gets there.
When you understand why you’re learning something and what you’re ultimately trying to achieve, it becomes easier to focus on acquiring the necessary skills or knowledge to reach that goal. Rather than feeling overwhelmed by the complexity of the subject matter, you can approach it with confidence because you have a clear understanding of the destination, and you just need to figure out how to get there.
