“aha!” - moment, when someone suddenly realises a simple solution to a problem.
Studies show that people who have a high ability to experience these “aha!” moments are generally intelligent to a moderate degree. However, beyond this moderate level of intelligence, there is no clear connection between being highly intelligent and having frequent “aha!” insights. In other words, having “aha!” moments relies on a specific kind of thinking that is not necessarily linked to higher levels of overall intelligence.
