I have documented my learnings from various sources over time using the Zettelkasten method. As this is my digital garden, I continually grow it by making regular updates.
In my opinion, creating something novel involves two stages:
1. 🧠 Learning existing knowledge
To create something novel in your area of interest, you first need to grasp what is already known and created. This means immersing yourself in the existing body of knowledge. To start, let’s examine what learning entails and how to effectively absorb information.
2.💡 Creating new ideas
Once you’ve got a good grasp of the existing knowledge, your brain can start making connections between different ideas in creative ways. This is how you can come up with fresh and innovative concepts. Understanding this process can help you turn what you know into something original.
